To accompany the Perfect Plant initiative from SAP, in preparation for later use by GOPA IT Consultants, the SAP Center of Excellence in Walldorf has developed a system that gives an impressive demonstration of the interaction and integration. Components of the solution include the SAP SCM and SAP ECC applications, Visiprise as a Manufacturing Execution System, the Composite Application SAP xLPO (to illustrate the Toyota Production System) and the sector-neutral solution SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (SAP MII), which connects the manufacturing division with the rest of the company and handles the reporting.
