Any SAP Virtualization initiative should be goal oriented and well prepared. Virtualization Technology needs to support your goals as opposed to adjusting your goals to virtualization. It’s implementation follows a planned, structured and efficient process which helps mitigate risk and safeguards the investment. Therefore GOPA ITC has developed a Transformation Model that will ensure customer success.

The transformation roadmap typically begins with an Assessment Workshop to understand the current architecture, network, hardware, and SAP system landscapes which in turn provides the background necessary to successfully run the implementation process (Physical to Virtual).

Assessment Workshop

The assessment workshop is a customized solution that helps answer the following questions:

1. What is my current physical set-up?

2. What are my biggest bottlenecks and why do I want to move from Physical to 
    Virtual?

3. What is my target platform (goal) and what virtualization components do I use to 
    get there?

4. How do I proceed with the transformation from a physical to virtual environment?

5. What are my opportunities for a pilot project?

6. How do I safeguard my investment?

Transformation Process

Once the assessment workshop is complete, a set of goals are identified which lead to the Transformation Process. Depending on what your goals are and where you are placed technologically, GOPA ITC’s Transformation Model takes you through the entire process of transforming your current architecture; from establishing the right Foundation to realizing Enterprise Cloud Maturity in a planned and structured five phase process.
