GOPA ITC will be on-site as a SAPPHIRE exhibitor in Booth 328, showcasing SAP Transportation Management 8.1 with a number of different live demos scheduled Monday through Wednesday at the following times:
- 11am - Order Consolidation and Shipment Optimization: TM compares LTL and FTL options when combining multiple sales orders into consolidated shipments and assigning low cost carriers
- 1pm - Freight Forwarding in TM: The stand-alone TM is used to process orders from the perspective of a Freight Forwarding organization. Multi-Modal planning, splitting of revenue between multiple business partners, and tracking in Event Management to highlight this scenario.
- 2.30pm - Small Package/Parcel handling in TM: The 3rd party add-on TM-XPS is used to rate shop between different parcel carriers in TM. The scenario continues by creating labels, and manifests in ECC.
- 4pm - Rush Order Broadcast Tendering: SAP SD shipping conditions are used to differentiate rush orders from regular orders. Rush orders are processed by TM triggering a broadcast Tendering to multiple carriers to save critical processing time.
